The origin
We built tools for ourselves first.
Lion Digital was founded as a sister company to Lion RMS, a fire risk and health & safety consultancy operating across the UK. Running a compliance business means managing complex documentation, client records, reporting workflows and regulatory obligations — simultaneously, accurately and at scale.
Rather than accept the friction of generic software, we built custom systems. CRM, document management, scheduling, reporting — all designed around how the business actually worked, not how a vendor imagined it might. The results were measured and significant: manual admin time dropped by 85%. Delivery timelines tightened. The margin for error reduced to near zero.
We then made those capabilities available to other businesses. That is Lion Digital. A technology company that builds from proven operational reality, not from assumptions about how businesses work.

Batir founded Lion Digital as the technology division of the Lion Group, drawing on a background that spans fire safety consultancy, health & safety management, environmental compliance and software engineering. He brings a rare combination of operational depth and technical precision — having built the systems Lion Digital now offers clients inside his own compliance business first. He leads architecture decisions, engineering strategy and client relationships across both Lion Digital and Lion RMS.
